It is the purpose of the League to put forward every effort to ensure all its youth athletes play a full season, with the goal of providing a safe environment that ensures the opportunity to continue playing by working to avoid violating any local policies which could jeopardize League operations. This policy is in addition to and within the League’s Code of Conduct.
To conform with the CCUSD COVID-19 policy and to reduce the risks of transmission and suspension of League operations, all League participants - coaches, players, spectators, and league officials agree to and shall adhere to the following policy:
- Players shall make every effort to avoid sharing the following equipment: bats, gloves, helmets, defensive protective masks, water bottles.
- Catcher’s equipment shall be cleaned between players and after games by each team using league-provided sanitizer and/or disinfectant wipes.
- Masks are optional site wide.
Quarantine Policy for Primary and Secondary ExposuresIn the event a coach, player, or umpire has a COVID exposure, the individual must quarantine from league activities (including practices and games) for a period of five (5) days with a negative test submitted to the League Safety Officer or seven (7) days without a test.
In the event a coach, player, or umpire has tested positive for COVID, the team must be quarantined from league activities (including practices and games) for a period of seven (7) days from exposure.
In all cases, if a coach, player, or umpire is not feeling well or exhibiting symptoms, they should not attend league activities (including practices and games).
