Love baseball and softball? Want to stay close to the game?
Officiating baseball and softball is a great way to stay involved in the game while serving the local community by helping create a safe, fun experience for our youth athletes and coaches. You’ll also stay active and fit while earning some extra money or fulfilling community service hours.
Is it for me?
Umpiring offers a physical and mental challenge and rewards those with high moral character, sound judgment, and a keen desire to help develop and educate the next generation of players.
Visit the FAQs for more details.
We’ll provide you with rules and field clinics, and access to League-owned gear. When you complete the field clinic and pass the rules exam, you’ll also receive a unique CFLL umpire hat.
We offer two programs: a “full” program for umpires 13+ years old to work all levels of softball and baseball and a “youth” program for kids 10-12 to get into umpiring, which will cover our Minors A baseball and Farm and Junior Minors softball.
I’m in. How do I get started?
Register by December 31st here. Once the registration is completed, we’ll send you a schedule of events in preparation for the upcoming Little League season.
